Making your life easier is what we are all about. And what better way to do this than to automate the world's most boring task: Data Cleaning. How do we do it? There are 3 simple steps...
Step 1. Flag the Issue as Containing Personal Data
In PRgloo you can quickly flag any issue as containing "Personal Data". Anything associated with that issue (statements, releases, conversations, notes etc) are then also deemed to have GDPR sensitive information.
Step 2. Fast Forward Six Years
Once six or so years have passed (or five or four or whatever you think is appropriate) you can then pop over to the GDPR Cleaning tool within PRgloo. You'll need to be what we call a Power User to do this, but provided you are then you can simply find all the issues which were created X or more years ago. You then say whether you want to delete all of these OR you only want to delete items which have not been updated in the past X time period. This means you don't get rid of long standing issues which are still generating interest. You only get rid of issues which are well and truly dormant.
Step 3. Press the Delete Button
Once you've got your list for deletion you can either review and delete them one by one or get rid of them all in one go. There's even a handy export tool should you need one final look before you say goodbye. It's a tough life isn't it?
